1. What data do we collect?

We collect personal data in the following ways:

Data you provide yourself:

• Name, email address, phone number (optional), delivery and billing address
• Order information such as products, shipping method, payment method, and order status
• Customer service communication (messages and any attachments/photos)
• Marketing preferences (only after your opt-in)

Automatically collected data:

• Device and usage data (IP address, browser type, timestamps, page visits)
• Cookie and consent IDs and similar technologies (see Cookies)

Data from third parties (only where necessary):

• Payment data via Shopify Payments (no full card numbers with us)
• Delivery information via logistics partners (for name and address processing)
• Marketing and analytics tools (only with consent)

We do not process special categories of personal data.

2. How do we use your data?

• Payments, returns, and customer service

3. Cookies

We use a consent banner (CMP). Non-essential cookies (e.g., for analytics, measurements, and remarketing via Google/Meta) are only placed after your consent. You can change or withdraw your preferences at any time via the banner/settings of our site. Browser settings provide additional management options.

4. Sharing of data

We only share your data with trusted parties if necessary for our services:
• E-commerce platform and hosting: Shopify (including affiliated sub-processors)
• Payments: Shopify Payments and underlying payment processors
• Email/CRM: Klaviyo (transactional emails and, after opt-in, newsletters)
• Logistics & delivery: shipping and fulfillment partners (name/address/contact for delivery updates)
• Advertising and analytics tools: Google (GA4/Ads), Meta (Facebook/Instagram) – only with consent

We do not sell your personal data.

5. Data retention and security

Retention periods:
• Order and administration data: 7 years
• Accounts: as long as active; inactive 24 months after last activity will be removed/anonymized
• Marketing data: until unsubscribe or withdrawal of consent; periodic cleanup (guideline 24 months)
• Customer service: up to 24 months after resolution, unless a longer period is necessary

Security: TLS/https, least-privilege access control, logging/monitoring, and periodic review of suppliers and processes. No system is 100% secure; do not share sensitive information over unsecured networks.

6. Your rights

You have the right (depending on the legislation in your country) to:
• Access, rectification, erasure, and data portability
• Restriction of processing and objection (incl. against direct marketing)
• Withdrawal of previously given consent

8. International data transfers

We ship from China and work with international logistics partners. In addition, some service providers (such as Shopify, Klaviyo, Google, Meta) may store or process data outside the EEA. In these cases, we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as EU-approved standard contractual clauses (SCCs) and additional measures where necessary.

9. Automated decision-making and profiling

• Fraud detection and IT security: we may perform automated checks (e.g., unusual order patterns). This may lead to a temporary block and manual review.
• Marketing profiling: with your consent, we may categorize you into target groups for personalized advertisements. You can always withdraw your consent and object to direct marketing.
